Started 25 games and appeared in 32...split his starts in all three outfield positions with nine coming in left field...opened the season by going 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored against then-No. 7 Texas...collected two hits and drew two walks in a road game at Baylor...drove in a pair of runs in the series finale against Illinois...collected a pair of hits and drove in a run against TCU...had a season-high three hits in a home tilt against Northwestern State.
Summer 2006
Played for the Mineral Wells Steam of the Texas Collegiate League...hit .294 (5-for-17) in seven games.

Started in right field in both contests...scored a run against North Carolina State.
SLC Tournament
Started all five games in the outfield...went 8-for-15 (.533) with three RBIs, three runs scored and six walks...went 2-for-3 with a walk in the victory over McNeese State...walked in each of his first three plate appearances against Texas-San Antonio before delivering his first career triple in his final at-bat...collected two hits and drove in a run in the six-run eighth in the victory over Lamar...drove in a pair of runs and went 2-for-3 in the championship victory over Northwestern State.
